208TH REUNION

Craig L. Thomas, 33°

Memorial Class

On October 24-25, 2008, the Cheyenne Scottish Rite held its 208th Reunion. The class was named after US Senator Craig L. Thomas, 33º, who passed away recently. There were three candidates in the class. David R. Sweat was elected President;William E. Winkelman, Treasurer; and Keanon A. Ingram, III , Orator.
On Thursday night prior to the Reunion, an Honors Banquet was held at the Hitching Post Inn. The program was MC'd by Bob Bradshaw, 33º. The guest speaker was Bob Fecht, Cheyenne Police Chief and State Legislator. He presented a slide show on some of the police problems in the City and some of the actions of the State Legislature.
During the Reunion, many of the degrees were exemplified in a superior manner. Those communicated were well done.
Following the Reunion, the Knights of St. Andrew held their first Annual Black Hat Dinner and Patriotic Play. (The Traitor) The dinner was served by Mizpah Chapter No. 36, Order of Eastern Star. Curt Rodebaugh presented a slide program on "Who Are the Knights of St. Andrew?" The Laramie Scottish Rite team presented the Patriotic Play.

Bob Bradshaw, 33º, served as MC at the Honors Banquet on the evening before the208th Reunion.
